Grant County is the 10th most populated county in New Mexico, it was founded in 1868 and named after the 18th President of the United States Ulysses S. Grant. Ulysses was born April 27, 1822 and died on July 23, 1885. He was in office for 8 years between 1869 to 1877.
This particular county has a lot of different outdoor attractions that you can get into. However, with you getting to one of there many places requires you to get in your vehicle to get there.
